Australian Vending Buying Association (AVBA) is a not-for-profit association based in Sydney that represents Australia's automated 24-hour food and beverage industry.                                                                            AVBA and its members provide micro-markets, vending machines, unattended retail & industrial solutions, advertising/promotional vending solutions.                                                                                              As part of our commitment to meeting the needs of an always-on-the-go society, we support our members' efforts to make our members' high-quality, innovative food and beverage services available everywhere and anytime.

CODE OF ETHICS

The members of the Australian Vending Buying Association   
appreciate that they have a responsibility to serve the public, their customers, and their community.  They understand their responsibilities to the industry and strive to raise its standards in their daily business operations as a member of the association. The AVBA is a non-profit association, and its purpose is to promote, develop and maintain the advancement of the vending industry.  The association is not intended to, and it may not, influence   any competitive decisions made by its members, or to           restrict competition in anyway.   Respect from other members is an important principle of       our business, and our policy dictates that we do not acquire members' existing vending locations. The retail industry, particularly in the area of convenience stores and small food retailers, is facing increasing challenges. Consumers are being more careful about where they spend their money and how much they spend. Supplier rates are rising, so businesses are facing increasingly expensive overheads.
